Venprendedoras is an organization, founded in Florida, United States, in February 2020, with the mission of providing visibility, generating community, offering training and fostering the growth of women entrepreneurs. To achieve its objectives, Venprendedoras works with local providers, educational institutions, businesses, organizations, mentors and individuals to promote the entrepreneurship of Venezuelan and Hispanic women around the world.

OUR GOALS ARE

Foster community and leadership.
Offer opportunities for connection and support among women entrepreneurs.
Provide visibility to women entrepreneurs and tehir businesses.
Convene meetings and forums.
Promote entrepreneurship among women entrepreneurs and support new business development or expansion.
Support access to capital.

THE FOUNDERS

Venprendedoras is an initiative of two sisters, Claudia and Mariela Briceño. It was born from the combination of their strengths and the union of purposes: entrepreneurship, women and the Venezuelan diaspora.

Mariela Briceño has more than 25 years of experience as an entrepreneur, communications strategist and analyst. She has worked in both the public and private sectors, and has developed communications campaigns for companies, NGOs and the public sector.

For more than 10 years she has been the director of her Digital Marketing and Communications Agency, Viva+ based in Miami. She deeply believes in the power of GIVING and in the power of women coming together to support each other and grow together.

Claudia Briceño, is a lawyer with a specialization in financial law, with more than 15 years of professional career and experience in social programs. She worked in the microfinance area as a legal consultant for the microcredit bank "Mi Banco", developing specific products for women entrepreneurs.

In Uruguay, where she lived for six years, she founded "Manos Veneguayas", a foundation to support the Venezuelan diaspora. She is passionate about connecting and supporting women, and is a fighter for Venezuela and Venezuelans.

Along with the founding sisters, the Board of Directors of Venprendedoras is completed by Claudia Petrosini, Catalina Valenzuela, Beatriz Sáez and Viviana Vethencourt, four outstanding professionals committed to the professional development of women and issues of equality and inclusion. 

Claudia Petrosini. President of the Board of Directors. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and a Master's degree in International Affairs and Economic Development. She has worked in the public and private sectors and has always been involved in community projects. She left her hometown of Caracas 25 years ago and has lived in New York, Mexico City and currently resides in Miami.

Catalina Valenzuela. Directora. Strategist expert in digital transformation and gender equality. She has led teams in the development of tools, policies and programs for the implementation of equitable work organizations. In 2021, she founded Innovus Consulting, an organization dedicated to promoting capacity building in local and international organizations. Catalina is a strong advocate for women's rights and donates 1% of her time and services to help local women entrepreneurs achieve their organizational goals.

Beatriz Sáez is an executive with more than 35 years of experience in TV and Premium Cable TV, with vast experience leading creative teams. She has developed and produced award-winning campaigns for HBO Latin America original series and the brand. Throughout his career, he has supported, promoted and boosted the careers of many professionals, women and men.

She currently serves as COO at Viva Plus and Executive Director at Creative Engaged Group. A leader, inspiring and committed, her purpose in life and service is aligned with those of the Foundation.

Viviana Vethencourt is a psychologist, coach, author, speaker and pioneer in the development of women's support organizations. She has more than 15 years of experience as a psychotherapist, business and life coach, and in the area of organizational development and strategic planning. She was one of the creators and founders of "Top Women Hispanic Network", a leading support organization for Hispanic women in South Florida. Her extensive background, knowledge in community management and commitment to women, make her a key player in the foundation.
