Venprendedoras is a non-profit foundation based in Miami, United States, dedicated to providing visibility, connecting, and supporting Venezuelan and Hispanic women entrepreneurs to help their businesses thrive.

Who can join Venprendedoras?

Venprendedoras is open to Venezuelan and Hispanic women entrepreneurs of all ages, from anywhere in the world, who are looking to grow their businesses and connect with a supportive community.

"Is Venprendedoras a community exclusively for Venezuelans?

No. Venprendedoras was founded in 2020 to provide visibility and connect women entrepreneurs from the Venezuelan diaspora; however, we realized that the needs of Venezuelan women were the same as those of any other migrant women entrepreneurs, and we decided that, true to our motto #TogetherWeAreMore.

How do I join Venprendedoras?

To join, simply fill out the form ÚNETE. It’s free, and by joining, you will start receiving information about our services, programs, and events.

What kind of support does Venprendedoras offer?

We offer a variety of support services, including networking events (in-person and virtual), digital spaces to increase your visibility and get to know you (Showcase), training programs (Getting Pitch-Ready), bazaars, entrepreneurship workshops, and access to information and resources that can support you on your entrepreneurial journey.

"Is there a membership to join Venprendedoras?

Yes. We are working on it. After carefully listening to the needs of our community, in 2024 we will launch Venprendedoras+, an exclusive space for members that will offer you more connections, opportunities, and resources to grow. If you are interested in being part of this exclusive space, you can sign up on the waiting list and you will be among the first to be notified.

How can I get involved with Venprendedoras if I am not an entrepreneur?

You will always be welcome at our events, which are open to the public (unless otherwise specified), even if you are not an entrepreneur. You can also support our mission by becoming a mentor, offering training, volunteering, or contributing with a donation. Visit our 'Contact Us' section for more information.

What kind of events does Venprendedoras organize?

We organize various events throughout the year, including networking meetings (virtual and in-person), workshops, webinars, and two in-person bazaars each year in the city of Miami. Check our Event Calendar to see the upcoming activities.

Who can participate in the Venprendedoras bazaars in Miami?

Any entrepreneur, of any nationality or origin, can apply to be part of our Bazaars (in May and December) as a seller. Stay tuned to our social media and newsletters, where we will inform you when the application period begins.

Can Venprendedoras help me find funding for my business?

Although we do not provide funding directly, we can connect you with resources and networks that offer grants, loans, and other financial opportunities for women entrepreneurs. If you qualify, you can participate in the Getting Pitch-Ready program, which prepares you for obtaining capital or financing.

What is the Getting Pitch-Ready Program of Venprendedoras?

This program brings together first-generation Hispanic women entrepreneurs, using a multigenerational approach, with the intention of preparing them to obtain capital or financing. It is aimed at entrepreneurs who are ready to scale their businesses and need to review and adjust their business structure and messaging to secure funding, capital, or be prepared for any growth opportunities.

How can I apply for the Getting Pitch-Ready Program of Venprendedoras?

In what languages are Venprendedoras programs offered?

Most of our programs and events are offered in Spanish. However, in some cases, we offer programs in English to support the preparation of entrepreneurs who wish to integrate into the local entrepreneurial ecosystem in the United States or any other country where English is the official language.

What is the FOCUS WOMEN ENTREPRENEURS program?

FOCUS WOMEN ENTREPRENEURS is a free training program created by CISNEROS for Venezuelan women residing in South Florida who are interested in developing their businesses. Since 2022, Venprendedoras has acted as a partner for the implementation of this program, which takes place in the city of Miami, with in-person classes once a week for 13 weeks.

What are the requirements to apply for FOCUS?

Be a Venezuelan entrepreneur residing in South Florida.
Have a business in the initial phase or a business idea.
Monthly revenue not exceeding $5,000.
Proficiency in the English language.
